This 4-day immersive workshop is about an in-depth, hands-on exploration of Ma in the garden of a historic church.
Ma is the Japanese concept of empty space that is not empty, but charged — the meaningful interval that gives form, rhythm, and relationship to what surrounds it. In the garden, Ma becomes visible through light and wind, distance between trees, shifting shadows, seasonal change, and the rhythm of growth.
The goal is not intellectual understanding, but integration. By the end of the workshop, Ma becomes something you can feel, recognize, and apply with confidence within natural landscape space.

Deze 4-daagse intensieve workshop is een diepgaande, hands-on verkenning van Ma in de tuin van een historische kerk.
Ma is het Japanse concept van lege ruimte die niet leeg is, maar geladen — het betekenisvolle interval dat vorm, ritme en relatie geeft aan wat haar omringt. In de tuin wordt Ma zichtbaar in licht en wind, in de afstand tussen bomen, in verschuivende schaduwen, in seizoensverandering en in het ritme van groei.
